Our Afternoon with Klapa More
On Sunday, November 26th 2017 the community of St. Nicholas Tavelich Parish, along with friends, enjoyed an afternoon listening to Klapa More perform. The quartet, who originate from Split, visited Winnipeg as part of their Canadian tour, sharing Klapa songs and the tradition of Klapa performances. This was the first time Winnipeg hosted a Klapa group.
Singing began during the morning Mass celebration and continued in the Parish hall.
In addition to being an enjoyable afternoon for the community, the luncheon was also a fundraiser for the upcoming hall renovation, which raised $3031 in funds.
Thank you very much to all who came and supported us!
