Loosening of Public Health Orders – February 8, 2022

Loosening of Public Health Orders – February 8, 2022
by

With the release of the new public health order on the following will be observed at our church.

Holy mass on Weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays: we are allowed to have 25% of the church capacity which is 82 people. This means that parishioners of St. Nicholas Tavelich do not need to pre-register for any mass. Masses are on first come first serve basis.

Parishes in the Archdiocese of Winnipeg will NOT require parishioners to present proof of vaccination.

Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms continue to be restricted to 25 people. The presider, one cantor, one accompanist, one lector, and the live-streaming team do not count toward the restrictions.

If the family desires to have more people present for these celebration they have the option after the consultation with pastor to check the proof of double vaccination at the door. This would allow about 100 people to be present.

Mask wearing and physical distancing is still required.

For more details, please see the attached letter from our Archbishop.
