Invoking the Holy Spirit for our New Catechism Year

by STNT
…See son, it is the same with God. His greatness depends on the distance between you and Him. The closer you are to Him, the greater He will be in your life.
On the feast of the archangels Michael, Gabriel and Rafael, Friday September 29th at 19:00, we invoked the Holy Spirit for the start of our new catechism year.
In the short homily Father Marko spoke to the children reminding them that during their baptisms, each of their parents promised to God and the church that they will raise their child in the faith, and that their parents know that Jesus holds a special place in their lives. He also wished to the children that over the following catechism year they become closer to God and deepen their knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Prior to celebrating the Mass, the children of the upcoming catechism year, along with their parents and teachers, had the chance to gather in the rectory to meet and socialize.
Here you will find how we finished our catechism year with our Thanksgiving Mass.
