Introducing Valour FC and Vatreni documentary film

This Sunday, March 10th after Mass we will be having a get-together in our Parish hall. This last summer we as a community held successful World Cup parties and shared in the tremendous achievement of our Croatian National soccer team during the 2018 Russia World Cup. We will be presenting a new documentary film, “Croatia a Nation’s Story”, which highlights the magnificent road of our Vatreni.

As you may have heard, 2019 marks the inaugural year of the Canadian Premier League in which our city will have a representative team, Valour FC. We are proud to welcome and present for the first time one of their players, Josip Golubar, who joined them from Varaždin, Croatia. Likewise, we will be introducing Valour FC head coach Rob Gale who will be joining us at our get-together. This afternoon will be an enjoyable afternoon for all soccer supporters as well as our Croatian community.

Please join us after Mass (remember the time change) for a lovely afternoon. There will be an opportunity to purchase cevape for lunch as well as alcoholic beverages. All profit will be going toward our hall renovation project.
