With Ash Wednesday the Lent season has begun. One of the most indispensable parts of Lent is the devotion of the Stations of the Cross. The Stations of the Cross are meant to guide the Christian faithful through a pilgrimage of Jesus’ last days on Earth as a man. The 14 stations focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on the specific event from Christ’s last day. This devotion has been practiced by faithful for six centuries.

As per tradition, every Friday of Lent at 6:30pm we will be praying the Stations of the Cross at our church. We encourage everyone to participate in this pious devotion which will feed our spirit. Following the stations we will be celebrating Mass.
