Continual Suspension of Public Masses

Continual Suspension of Public Masses

The Archbishop Richard Gagnon, following the directives of Manitoba Health and in consultation with deans and bishops of Manitoba, released a new memo regarding the continued suspension of Public Masses in the Archdiocese of Winnipeg.

Sunday Mass: there is suspension of public mass until and including May 31st, 2020. This date may change in the future.

Weekday Mass: all weekday Masses will stop during this time. Priests are to celebrate mass privately everyday.

Funeral masses are still possible but we have to observe the limit of 10 people imposed by the province.

Confession/Ispovjed: Please contact the parish office by phone or email to make an appointment and discuss the details.

Live-Streamed Masses:
The Archbishop will continue to celebrate a private Mass each Sunday from the Cathedral at 11:00 am which will be “live-streamed” at the Archdiocesan website.

Fr. Peter is going to continue live-stream private masses from St. Nicholas Tavelich Parish every Sunday at 11:00 am. The link to watch is going to be on our website (calendar section) and Facebook page. Please subscribe to our Parish YouTube Channel here!
