33rd Annual Public Way of the Cross in the Archdiocese of Winnipeg

Friends as you are aware our parish (St. Nicholas Tavelich) has been chosen to host the 33rd Annual Public Way of the Cross on Good Friday, April 15th, 2022 starting at 9:00 AM. The goal of the Public Way of the Cross is to raise awareness to injustices in our society – presence of the suffering Christ in our midst and to pray for healing and support for those suffering these wounds in their life and other injustices against human dignity.
In the past years when this event has been held in the city of Winnipeg there was about 2000 people who came out.
Our Parish Steering Committee, led by Mr. Franc Stepic has been at work planning and working out the details since the beginning of the year. If you would like to help out with the event you can either contact the church at (204) 339-3264 or contact directly the chair person.
