Once in a while, children come into this world so special, that the angels need these precious ones to sing in Heaven and light up the world from above.

Dear parishioners, relatives and friends,

It is with heartfelt sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of Jakob Kvaternik, son of Eugen and Robin Kvaternik, who died in utero and was delivered on October 18th, 2017.

Leaving to mourn his unexpected loss are his parents Eugen and Robin Kvaternik along with his siblings Valentina, Luka, Josip, Magdalena, Eugen III, and Anđela, as well as many relatives and friends.

The funeral rites will begin with a memorial Mass at St. Nicholas Tavelich church in Winnipeg on Monday, October 23rd, 2017 at 11:00am, following Mass the burial will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery in the Garden of Angels section (immediately to the left upon entering the cemetery).

Born into heaven, angel rest in the peace of God!

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you honour Jakob’s memory with a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). The family prays that Jakob, in his passing, is able to help his eldest sister and other Canadians in seeking a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Press this button if you would like to make a donation.
